Welcome to SPAREConnect. Before you may register as a user on this platform, you must read and agree, personally and on behalf of the organization that you represent, to the Spare Connect Terms of Service.

SPAREConnect Terms of Service

SPAREConnect is a resource for power system asset owners and operators to efficiently provide contact information to other SPAREConnect members concerning potential access to spare transmission and GSU transformers, spare distribution transformers and other, related spare equipment in the event a particular, permitted need arises. Participation in SPAREConnect is open to power system asset owners and operators in North America that acknowledge and agree to the following terms. By agreeing to the SPAREConnect Terms of Service, you will agree to these terms personally and on behalf of the organization that you represent.

1. SPAREConnect is a voluntary program. My organization and I agree that no other user or organization is obligated to enter into any discussions with any other user or organization or make any particular piece of equipment available.
2. SPAREConnect is intended to be used only in the event of an emergency or other non-routine failure. My organization and I agree not to use SPAREConnect for any other purpose.
3. My organization and I agree (i) to maintain the confidentiality of all information we may obtain through SPAREConnect, (ii) not to disclose such information to any third parties (without the express permission of the party providing such information), and (iii) to use any such information only for the express purpose of exploring the potential availability of spare equipment in the event of an actual need for such equipment caused by an emergency or other non-routine failure.
4. My organization and I represent and warrant that our participation in SPAREConnect is consistent with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and codes of conduct or other policies to which we are subject (collectively, Laws). We agree that we will comply at all time with such Laws, including all federal and state antitrust laws, in utilizing SPAREConnect or any information obtained through SPAREConnect or in connection with any communications or interactions with other parties facilitated through SPAREConnect.
5. My organization and I agree that our participation in SPAREConnect may be terminated for any failure to strictly comply with these SPAREConnect Terms of Service.
6. In the event that these SPAREConnect Terms of Service are modified for any reason, my organization and I agree that our continued participation in SPAREConnect will be subject to our agreement to all such modified terms.
7. I represent and warrant that I have the power and authority to bind my organization to these Spare Connect Terms of Service and will inform any necessary personnel within my organization of the organization's obligations to comply at all times with these Spare Connect Terms of Service.
